Kabale University library is officially known as Mukombe library. It was named after the late Mukombe when the University authorities accepted the offer of the Mukombe family to renovate the building and name it after him. The late Mukombe was one of the famous Saza chiefs of Kigezi. The library is a nerve centre of all activities in the university. It provides a range of information resources and facilities. The library consists of reception, open shelves, reserve, and reading space.
