1. The sixth graduation ceremony of Kabale University will take place on the 29th October 2011

2. I write to inform you that Kabale University ICT Department is in the process of starting a CISCO ACADEMY. This CISCO academy will be vigilantly running many courses but for the start it will run IT Essentials beginning April 2011.

IT Essentials is a rich course that teaches PC hardware and software best maintenance practices, computer safety, PC assembling, configurations, troubleshooting and installation of Operating systems and application software.

Eligibility of the course

• Students, government officials, civil society, NGOs, CBOs, IT professionals, private sector officials and individuals.
• Minimum academic requirement is O-Level or its equivalent.
• Prior computer training though advantageous is not required.
